Frequently Asked Questions

How Many guests can The Grand Hall host?

Dependent upon the type of event and floor plan needed, The Grand Hall can host 530 guests, theater style seating up to 650 guests. We also have a large stage and dance floor. Take the event outside with spacious grounds for ceremonies.

Are there multiple events held at one time?

No, there is only one event hosted at a time.

Do you host other events besides weddings?

We host all types of events from large to small. For instance Quinceanera, birthday parties, corporate events. It is your event, we are here for you! 

Can I host my ceremony on site as well? Is there an additional fee?

You may have your ceremony in The Hall and there is no fee.

Am I able to choose my own vendors or do I have to choose from a list?

You may choose your own vendors. (caterers, decorators etc.)

Do you require security for events? If so, what is the cost?

The Hall provides security for all alcohol parties.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Yes, please refer to our policy page for more information.

Do you have restrictions for decor?

All decorations must be approved by the venue manager. Nothing is allowed to be put on the walls! The use of tacks, nails, adhesives, staples, glitter, confetti, feathers, birdseed, streamers are not allowed. The use of flower petals for a ceremony are restricted to the use of silk petals. If The Grand Hall finds that these items have been used within the premises a $300 cleaning fee will be added to the final bill.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Yes. ADA accessible ramps at entrance as well as the stage.

Is there a Bride Room and a Groom Room where I can get ready?

There is a Bride's room, not a Groom room.

Do I need to schedule an appointment to see the venue?

Yes, you must contact 317-884-1940 or 317-863-3300, we will then set up an appointment for you to meet with management.

We meet on Sundays between 11:00am and 2:00pm

What does the rental fee include?

The rental fee includes the use of the space for your event as well as tables and chairs to accommodate 550 guest. (Please note we DO NOT provide linens)

Does The Grand Hall have a kitchen for caterers to use?

We have a restaurant industrial equipped kitchen as well as cold storage. We also have unlimited ice!

Does The Grand Hall have loading docks?

We have a conveniently located loading dock!

How far in advance should I book my date?

 If you know about your event, it’s not too early to book it! The sooner you contact us, the sooner we can confirm the availability of your date and begin the process. Our calendar fills up quickly. Be sure to contact us today to host your next event with us! 

When you say clean up what does that include?

  When we say cleanup, we simply mean that at the end of your scheduled rental time, everything that you brought into the venue needs to be thrown into the trash or taken out of the rental space. We will take care of the rest (sweeping, taking out the trash, chairs, tables, etc)
